The Machine is using us was impressive to watch. With all the information available through computers there's no doubt that they're in the library to stay. I have to admit there are some pretty interesting things on Utube, especially the talking dogs.

Looked at Technorati. I have a better understanding of how tags work. It seems as though you'd have to sort through a lot of "stuff" when doing a search. I didn't find it all that helpful.

Discovered Del.icio.us today. I can see where this would be a very useful tool for someone doing research, especially if it was a collaborative effort.

I don't have a group of favorite websites so for me Rollyo doesn't have a practical application.

I looked at some news feeds. Feedster and Technorati seemed not very useful and I didn't see the point to them.

I've created a Bloglines newsreader account. There are a lot of really interesting things to subscribe to.

Finally getting around to posting something technology related. I recently saw a Nova Science Now program profiling a roboticist from MIT who designs robots that can communicate and interact with people. She's trying to develop robots who can understand socially and emotionally intelligent behavior. They will have robot emotions. One of her creations is a teddy bear named Huggable which may someday be used in hospital pediatric wards. I found this really interesting.
